This was a repeat of the 2021 semi-final, which England won 2-1 after extra time. However, the current England side has looked far less impressive in this tournament. They scraped past Serbia 1-0 in their opening match, and their performance against Denmark was far from convincing.
The draw is a setback for England, but they are still in a strong position to qualify for the knockout stage. They face Slovenia in their final group match on June 25th, and a win would secure their place in the next round. How England and Denmark are heading to the Euro 2024 duel?
England won their first match in the group stage of Euro 2024, 1-0 against Serbia with a goal by Jude Bellingham, at the Veltins-Arena, and set their qualification to the round of 16 on track.
