This Friday, July 4th, celebrations for the Independence Day of the United States will take place. The city of Chicago, one of the cities with the largest number of celebration points, is completely ready to carry out different activities, such as military parades, events for the entire public and the long-awaited fireworks show, which usually takes place from 9:00 p.m. in different specific points of the city. What time and where to watch the fireworks in Chicago this 4th of July 2025?

Evanston: The annual Independence Day celebration will take place in Evanston, a very traditional place where it has been held for more than 100 years. The fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m.

Mount Prospect: will be held at the Lions Club and will be the 86th edition of the 4th of July Festival. The 4th of July show will start at 9:30 p.m. and you can attend at Melas Park, 1500 W. Central Rd. Central Rd.

Northbrook: there will be a Fourth of July fireworks show in the Northbrook Park District, where a stop will be made at Ed Rudolph Velodrome, 1479 Maple Ave.

Oak Lawn Park District: will host their annual fireworks show this Friday, July 4th and can be located at Richards High School, 10601 Central Avenue.

Skokie’s Fireworks Festival: starting at 9:30 p.m. the fireworks show will kick off this Friday, July 4 at Lincoln Avenue and Oakton St. Later. You can find them at Niles West High School, 5701 Oakton St.

Westmont: it will be the 25th Independence Day celebration, starting at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 4th. The fireworks show will be held at 9:30 p.m. at Ty Warner Park, 800 Blackhawk Dr.

Winnetka: the fireworks show will be held starting at 9:20 p.m. at Duke Child’s Field, 1321 Willow Rd.
