England’s qualification for the knockout stages of Euro 2024 remains uncertain after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Denmark in their second Group C match on Thursday.
The Three Lions took the lead through Harry Kane in the 18th minute, but their advantage was short-lived as Morten Hjulmund equalized for Denmark with a long-range strike in the 34th minute.
The result leaves England needing a positive result in their final group game against Slovenia to secure their place in the round of 16. Denmark, meanwhile, are still in contention for qualification and needs a win against Serbia.
England’s Group C match against Denmark was on Thursday, June 20.
