El certamen de belleza del Miss Universo 2023 se llevó a cabo el último sábado 19 de octubre en el Gimnasio Nacional José Adolfo Pineda, ubicado en la capital de El Salvador, donde la nicaragüense Sheynnis Palacios se convirtió en la nueva reina del certamen y recibió la corona de la estadounidense R’Bonney Gabriel, quien la ganó en la edición 2022. La transmisión del evento estuvo a cargo de la cadena internacional de Telemundo en los países de México y Estados Unidos.
