The ‘Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ returns to the screens of the Amazon Prime Video platform this Thursday, August 29 with the premiere of the second season, considered the most ambitious project for a television series - each episode of season 1 cost 58 million dollars - and which hopes to meet the high expectations of fans of the books by J. R. R. Tolkien, the famous writer who created the concepts of Middle Earth.
In this new adventure that brings together different races such as humans, elves, dwarves, hobbits, ents and other creatures from Tolkien’s universe, it is expected to tell the story of the beginnings of Sauron (played by Charlie Vickers), the main antagonist, and the fight of Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) to stop his advance in the Second Age of Middle Earth.

Prime Video will premiere the first three episodes of its second season on August 29, following on the heels of the first season, which has been watched by more than 100 million viewers, according to the streaming platform.
